The building is located at the confluence of three major arterial roads: the Siena –Florence motorway, the Cassia and the Chiantigiana, immediately north of the city of Siena. The bank services and a small garage are located in the basement. The hall is shaped on an octagonal base which somehow contrasts with the adjacent volume of the offices. The roof is made of metal, with a completely visible structure. Outside, the roofing extends on shelves to form a circular ring of metal mesh which supports some climbing plants. The presence of vegetation on the roof emphasizes a certain sense of lightness, naturalness and technologic antithesis. It also serves as a solar control system. The office block breaks the geometric symmetry of the building with a simple plastered facade, marked by a double ribbon of windows trimmed in the white marble.
